RAILJOURNERS FALL 2007 TOUR       

SEPTEMBER 24, 2007 TO OCTOBER 10, 2007

Trip Details:    The trip departs from the United states on Sept. 24, 2007, arriving in Geneva, Switzerland the next morning, Sept 25th.  We  will travel by train to Villeneuve for the first seven nights of our tour.  We will work our way east staying in Interlaken seven nights, ending up in Zurich for our final night.

Transportation Information:     Air transportation is provided by Lufthansa with connections to the gateway cities on United Airlines.   Our Daily trips will be made utilizing rail passes that permit unlimited use each day.  Sample pricing is quoted for several cities, but we can quote from almost any city served by these airlines. A number of non-covered trips are included in the tour and optional and optional trips on non-covered travel will be available at discount to pass holders.

 Trip includes:   Round-trip air from the United States to Geneva, Switzerland,  returning from Zurich;  double occupancy hotel rooms, breakfast and dinner each day; 15 day Swill rail pass (second class); luggage transfers; a scheduled itinerary with guidance to and from each location each day;  and a lot of fun and great scenery.  We will include many of the tourist mountain railroads including the Brunig Rothorn, Schnigge Platte and Harder Kulm bahns.

Trip does not include:   Lunch, items of a personal nature, travel not covered by the rail passes or outlined in our itinerary, departure fees and taxes (to be billed later) and any other non-listed items.

Disclaimer:  We cannot guarantee the services provided by airlines or other service providers and they will solely be responsible for correcting any deficiencies should they occur.  Also, acts of God such as weather, labor strikes or other similar occurrences are beyond our control and we will not be responsible for these.  Travel insurance, while not handled by us is available.

Please note that all prices are double occupancy and do not include departure fees that will be billed later when determined.  Past departure fees have been between $150 and $200 per person.  There are a limited number of single occupancy rooms available for an additional $350.  We will endeavor to put singles in touch with each other to make it possible to decide to share a room.

RESERVATION INFORMATION

If you would like to join us for this tour please complete and return the reservation form (click on Sign-Up link).  All reservations must be accompanied by a deposit or credit card.  Cash (check) will be credited $60.00 at final billing.  Upon receipt we will forward an itinerary and receipt.  Our cancellation fees are as follows:  $50.00 up to 60 days prior to departure; $100 31-49 days prior; no refunds for cancellations within 40 days of departure.  Trip insurance is available.  Payment schedule is:  With reservation $700. per person, $700.00 May 1, 2007, $700.00 July 1, 2007 and balance will be billed August 15, 2007.  Call if you have questions.  We look forward to hearing from you.
