About Journertous
More than 15 years ago my wife Colleen and I started taking groups of people interested in travelling by train in Europe on rail trips. I had already been organizing European ski trips for a Des Moines based ski club for many years and decided to expand this knowledge in to the area of rail travel in Europe. With this idea in mind we set about organizing group rail tours and have enjoyed a long and rewarding success bringing groups of rail fans together for this purpose.
Some of the countries we have visited include Switzerland, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy, England, Wales and Scotland. We have seen impressive sites from the Matterhorn in Zermatt, Switzerland via the Gornergrat Railway to the Chunnel (Channel tunnel) between Paris and London via the Eurostar.
