RAILJOURNER TOURS

PLANS FOR 2008

Dear Rail Fans,

IRELAND

We have received several inquiries about our plans for 2008.  As several have requested, we are going to Ireland in the Spring for 10 days.  Ireland has rail service on long haul routes and has recently spend 1.5 billion dollars on track, equipment and station upgrades.  However, train travel on this trip will be very limited because of geography and station location.  So if you plan to go do not expect it to be our typical train tour.

Ireland is about the people, scenery and history and we anticipate an excellent tour experience.  It goes without saying that the value of the dollar is making it difficult to keep costs within our usual guidelines but base costs will be $2700 to $2900 pp/dble depending upon departure city.

The trip will depart the US on April 21. and return May 2 with 3 nights in Galway, 3 nights in Dublin and 4 nights at an Irish rural manor house near Shannon.

Because the price of the trip will be based upon a special class of service the earlier we can get you in the computer the more likely the lower cost of the air can be retained.  If you have any expectation of traveling with us please call immediately so we can (without obligation) get you in the system.  The surcharge for the next class of service will about $150 per person.

We expect details to be available by mail in the next few days, but now that we have made final arrangements we hope you will take this opportunity to get a "jump start" with us.

Please call the 800 524 7610 number now if you want to get the process started.

DOMESTIC TRIPS

We are presently working up details for a Colorado tourist train tour in mid-summer and possible a Northwest US and Victoria Island tour as well.  Details to follow when available.
